I love to hike and enjoy the outdoors. This app has given me the ability to explore even more of the edible life in nature. A must have to any explorer.

Awesome app plenty of plants wish there was more categorys for what plants do

The pictures are blurry, and lacking important details. And the search could be improved. An ok app for use in the field if you have a good book at home.

Dont get this app (not that good)

I usually have my phone with me when I go hiking so this is great to have as a wild plant field guide also. Thanks for the great app.

This app has helped me in so many ways with its plethora of information about wild edibles. Try it out and go explore!

Nice app. I like that the user can add and edit. Somewhat overpriced. I hope to see more additions to the listed plants in future updates. Technical and other common names should be included. Some photos are blurred and too small. I would prefer to see a shorter disclaimer on each page, such as "Read the disclaimer before proceeding" or an "I have read and understand the risks ...", each time the app is opened. The app description should note that it can or cannot be used without an Internet. RH

A nice app, but a warning should be given about not harvesting plants that might be contaminated with environmental toxins such as pesticides (most lawns), auto exhaust (roadsides), etc. Also more photos needed to help ID some plants (different plant parts and stages of growth).

I love having all this in my pocket where ever I am! Great photos and clearly put together. I wouldnt enter the woods without it.

needs more information : what part of the plant is edible; what type of environment is it found [ beach, woodland, wetand); what part of the world is it found. I live in Florida and recognized very few of the plants.

Love the app! Especially the feature that lets you add your own pictures and descriptions. Very handy in the field.

I found this app to be wonderful. Most of these plants are native to my area(ca) and grow on my acreage. Some I already knew about but really like the good quality photos for comparison. Already have taken the kids out in the field and used this app for our homeschool. Thanks

Sergei thought of everything to make this app user-friendly. Easily better than the Wild Edibles (Wild Man) app. He includes lots of relevant info, all well organized. Wish it had: • Plant geographic areas • Some kind of search-by-leaf-type function (lobed, serrated, alternate, etc) to streamline identification of unknowns. • Would like to add larger pictures to my custom entries. (Pokeweed/berries are very attractive but highly toxic and are prevelant in my area.) Add these features, Id pay $7.99 for this app.

This is one of my favorite apps. It is a easy way to expand your knowledge of the wild edibles just out side your door. I use it almost everyday easily identifying unknown plants or use it to go searching for a plant that I would like to find. With the ability to store your own photos I am building and personalizing this app to be more the just another app, but as my tool to better understand the wild world around me. I would highly recommend this app! It is defiantly the best of its kind and also lead me to the "green smoothie app" which is another one of my favorites. Enjoy and good hunting!

Having eaten weeds for years and acquired many books on the subject, have to say this is a super app! best photo IDs Ive seen.

This is the best app ive gotten so far....it is a must have for any gardener, health conscious, or anyone interested in outdoor herbs/weeds & what they can be used for. Also, finally an app that works beautifully! And the pictures are absolutely beautiful & the descriptions suburb! Whoever put this app together sure took a lot of care & time ....I hope you come out with more apps. Thanks, thanks, thanks!

This is an ok app. After reading everyones positive reviews I was pretty disappointed in what I actually ended up buying. I hope there will be updates coming in the future. This is definitely not an extensive app on edible wild foods. It only touches on the basics and a small variety of wild foods . For instance, birches, nothing is mentioned about the yellow birch and black birch. Black birch bark tasting like wintergreen and yellow birch producing a better sap but still much thinner than maple sap. Nothing is mentioned of cucumber root, partridge berry, queen annes lace, spice bush, wintergreen, pineapple weed... etc, etc. however I was happy to see lambs quarters lister since it is a very tasty spring green. When I bought this app I was looking for a good field guide on edible wild foods but as of yet, this isnt it. This app is a good start but it needs to improve a lot and I would like to see it grow. But at the moment it doesnt deserve the number of over-rated reviews it is receiving. - happy foraging
